DUBAI: Pakistan defeated India by five wickets in a thrilling Super Four match on Sunday at the Dubai International Stadium to avenge their loss to India in the Asia Cup 2022 opener.
Thanks to Mohammad Rizwan's remarkable 71-run knock and all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz's 41 runs off 20 deliveries, Pakistan was able to contain India to 181 runs after a fantastic start to their innings by the Indian batsman. Pakistan then successfully chased down the target with one ball remaining.
